I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Alaska and also recognized as a Registered Play Therapist (RPT), and Perinatal Mental Heatlh Certified (PMH-C). For 12 years, I have valued being of therapeutic service to individuals and families. My practice has an attachment/developmental/humanistic foundation and incorporates neuroscience, cognitive, play, expressive arts, sandtray, EMDR, and somatic interventions. MY SPECIALIZATIONS MATERNAL: Providing sensitive care for individuals experiencing perinatal bereavement and/or difficulties with mood and anxiety related to transitioning to parenthood. I am Certified in Perinatal Mental Health. INFANT: Supporting healthy bonding and attachment in parent-child relationships. I provide FirstPlay based interventions from 0 to 36 months old. I am a Certified FirstPlay Practitioner. CHILD: From ages 3 to12, I utilize Child-Centered, Theraplay activities, EMDR and prescribed play-based interventions. I am a Registered Play Therapist. ADOLESCENT: My approach is individually tailored to support goals, using a combination of cognitive and experiential interventions. I am EMDR basic trained.
